let's allow His words to serve as our guide in all that we do. Let's take time to write the vision, make it plain, and wait for it — because with God, all things are possible.

Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14

If God has already provided the ordinary means of growing in grace as we find in His Word, why do we think that we have the right or the greater wisdom to invent new ways through entertainment-driven, success-oriented worship and ministry?

God has a plan and direction for your church that will take you the way that He intends.

Now is the time to be intentional about moving in the direction that God has for your church. A direction that will advance the kingdom of God.

Often small and rural churches need to be reminded that they are to be the light in their community regardless of how insignificant they may feel at times. When a church is plateauing or declining in attendance and in activity they can start to loss that excitement and brightness that they once expressed in their “glory days.”

Acedia has been called "the noonday demon" because it strikes when enthusiasm begins to wane and passion starts to fade. It's a subtle yet insidious force that threatens to derail anyone who isn't aware of its power. By understanding the nature and causes of this phenomenon, we can learn how to protect ourselves from succumbing to its effects.

Jesus Christ has given us every advantage and tool to overcome the world and it’s schemes. In Christ we are warriors for the Lord.

Let us remember that we are to be a shining example of what it means to have faith in Jesus Christ. We must strive every day to make sure our words and actions reflect His character. That your church, regardless of size or stature, can still be a lighthouse on the hill for your context.

We only have 24 hours in a day, but what if we had 30? It would give us more time to complete the tasks we never seem to have enough time for. All of us have things left undone at the end of each day--letters that go unanswered, friends we wish we had more time for, and books collecting dust on our shelves. Wouldn't it be nice to feel like we could accomplish something?
